Featured Caterers

Nashville’s best caterers are invited to showcase a signature dish as part of the event.  The outstanding array of complimentary hors d’oeuvres and beverages by area caterers, specialty food shops, and favorite dining destinations has become a significant part of the fundraiser and has made “The BirdHouse Thing” one of Nashville’s premier social events.

We take great pride in eliminating the financial barriers of music education for many of Nashville’s children but it is not possible without the support of our friends and neighbors.  We need your help to make The Birdhouse Thing a successful reality.  We hope that you will consider joining us this year.

Caterer Participation Outline

W.O. Smith Music School will provide:

• A 6-foot table
• Table skirt and tablecloth
• Signage on the table
• All disposable utensils, plates, and napkins

Caterers will be asked to:

• Submit a logo file (vector graphic or high res jpeg preferred) using online form for use in ads and acknowledgements in print and online.
• Submit menu choices no later than March 1st.
• Submit requests for special setup needs (i.e. electrical outlet) no later than March 1st
• Bring at least 750 individual pieces or 750 servings of chosen item(s)
• Provide serving dishes, serving utensils
• Provide at least one worker to serve during the event
• Arrive at the W.O. Smith Music School between 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm on the evening of the event for set-up
• Remain until the end of the event (around 9:00 pm)
